Journal # 5

Let start with new information




There are lot information’s of this week.  I have learned many new words about business such as “PRODUCT CATEGORY”. Let me explain the first part is include with tangible mean things can touch and another one is intangible mean things can’t touch.

In other word, my boss teaches me about “PRODUCT DEFINITION” mean Product+ Service.  When I learn this week, it makes me clear and knows how to view international business. Especially, time that we buy product, what we need to see? So I have example to show you “WHEN YOU BUY PRODUCT” for example Brand Model product such as Honda+ Honda Civic + after- sale service.
Importantly, I have lecture “PRODUCT COMPONENT” there are 4 parts of this such as (1) Brand/logo (2) Packing/label (3) Product line and (4) Product model. I apply this knowledge to my brand. There are many product lines of CHANEL such as bags, sun glasses, perfumes, clothes, shoes, etc. So I have to focus product line of my brand.

This week, my boss begin lecture with 2 questions.
                   1. What do you wear?
                   2. What do you think you wear?
Both questions are different. It quite makes me confuse L   I spend time to think how different from the questions? …………..  So I realize the first question is what you wear and the second question is what you’re feeling of being such as sexy, trendy, smart, cool, modern, stylist, hot, chic, etc. In my view, consumer buy based on perception and belieft toward brand.  Moreover, I have learned about “Product Positioning” and I apply the lecture that I study with my brand.   It makes me understand more and more.  Importantly, it makes me like & love business with unconscious. WOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

BEING UNDERSTAND BUSINESS



Before I learn this week, it makes me wonder about something. Let me tell you why I say that. There are different reasons of each person to choose products. Some people just buy beautiful things and some people just buy comfortable things. Those things are depend on feeling of each person. So I will tell you what I learn from “Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs”.  It is involved with my brand “CHANEL”
At the same time, my boss ask question about Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs from my brand. I think CHANEL brand is “Ego-status” and “Self-actuation” because it is expensive, luxury, modern, prestige, etc. So I do believe many people want to buy and use it as me. : P Finally, it makes me understand business better after I wondered.
